Registration Info & Waitlist
The Initial 24 Hour Registration window for the 2024 Queen City Stitch Retreat has ended, but feel free to complete and submit the registration form below to be added to our Wait List! For more information about the Retreat, please scroll down to the bottom of this page.
We have space for 144 attendees and will be offering spots based on a lottery system.
Registration will open on January 1, 2024 at 10 am EST here on our website. We will also email a form link to our mailing list and post it in our Facebook group. (If you wish to be added to our mailing list please see the front page of this site to find our newsletter sign up.)
You will have 24 hours to sign up (from 10 am EST on January 1, 2024 to 9:59 am EST on January 2, 2024) to be in the lottery for a spot. We will not start drawing names until after that initial 24 hour period. We do this so that no one feels rushed or feels obligated to change their schedule in order to sign up. No FOMO here! lol
Important: Please take your time filling out the google form! Make sure your email address and details are correct. Taking the extra few minutes to ensure your information is accurate will make our jobs much easier! If your email address is incorrect and bounces back to us as undeliverable, we will move to the next name on the list to offer the spot.
Please make sure to check your spam folder as well!
If your name is drawn, we will email you a spot offer with instructions to pay. We hope to have all emails out by January 8, 2024. We accept PayPal (friends and family) and Venmo (gift) within 48 hours of being spot notification. If we do not receive payment/communication from you within that 48 hours, we will choose another name from our waitlist.

REFUND POLICY
Refunds will only be issued prior to June 1, 2024 if someone from the waitlist is available to take your spot. All refunds will be 80% of the retreat cost.
No refunds will be issued after June 1, 2024 for any reason.
Spots at the retreat are not transferable; you may not sell or transfer your registration to another person.
Here’s the tough one: things happen. After the last few years we all know this. Due to the time and expense we spend on organzing this event, we will not offer refunds or discounts if things don’t go as expected, this includes if the guest artist is unable to attend. Aaron and Cassandra are excited to spend time with us, but if for any reason they are unable to attend, we will still have our totally awesome Autumn Lane Stitchery themed retreat and take advantage of the opportunity to spend time with stitchy friends.
What do you get for registering?
Registration is $250 and includes:
-Your seat at the table, two and a half days of stitching, hanging out, and partying. (We have 6 people at each table for optimal space to spread out all your stuff! )
-Access to a super amazing artist (2024’s guest artist is Autumn Lane Stitchery), including a meet and greet, a Q&A, AND maybe possibly some extra special secret designer perks we shan’t share yet. 😉
-A 2024 QCSR tote bag filled with awesome stitchy things
-A retreat exclusive pattern, designed by Autumn Lane Stitchery
-Optional opportunity to participate in our smalls/scavenger hunt exchange!
-Access to the QCSR Photo Booth (complimentary)
-Optional chair massages by Wildflower Massage Therapy LLC ($20 cash for 15 min)
-A small lighting setup kiosk for our Flosstubers, get that retreat footage for your next episode!
-Shop with our vendors! Autumn Lane will offer their patterns and needleminders, Oak Crown Studios will be on hand with their gorgeous hand dyed fabrics, and Shiba Designs returns with her amazing project bags and various sundries.
-Access to our 2024 merch shop for QCSR t-shirts and hoodies
-An opportunity to pre-order an exclusive QCSR project bag from Shiba Designs
-Giveaways, prizes, and raffles! Attendees will find complimentary raffle tickets in their welcome packet. Additional tickets may be purchased. 100% of all raffle proceeds will be donated to Stand For Animals.
-Super awesome stitchy trivia games (you’ll use your phone to play), created by and courtesy of Kathryn, the Needleberry Stitcher!
*Amy and I know how nerve wracking attending a retreat can be and we want everyone to feel as comfortable as possible so we also include the following:
-Attendee-only Zoom hang outs between registration and retreat time!
-Access to our 2024 attendees-only Facebook group and chat! Get to know some names and faces beforehand!
Will there be a wait list?
Yes, we will maintain a wait list for the event. We don’t want anyone to miss out if we can help it! We will keep the registration form active for several months and continue to add to the waitlist over time.
Lodging and Accommodations
Please note your registration fee does NOT include lodging nor food.
After an attendee has paid, they will be provided with a link to our room block at the retreat hotel. We are once again staying in the beautiful Courtyard by Marriot Charlotte Waverly. Walk down from your room right into all the retreat action! There are multiple shops, restaurants, and gas stations surrounding our hotel as well as a post office across the street (for all you professional shoppers!)
